iQuHACK 2021, MIT's second annual quantum hackathon, had 219 participants (from 943 applicants) with 49 teams across 12 time zones, 29 countries, and 40 universities.
The fourth member of their team was Óscar Amaro, a Physics master student at IST. Óscar is currently a scholar of the Gulbenkian Programme New Talents in Quantum Technologies, developing research at GoLP/IPFN, under the supervision of Marija Vranic. Diogo Cruz and Duarte Magano are alumni of this extremely competitive programme, which aims at training some of the most talented students in Portugal in Quantum Information Science and Technologies.
Congratulations to all for this achievement!
